Job description: Giant Worldwide is a digital distribution and technologies expert for the entertainment industry. We service many of Hollywoods largest studios as well as smaller independent studios. Giant has serviced thousands of titles to over 100 different VOD and broadcast platforms including iTunes, Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, and Google Play. In addition to our digital VOD offerings, we are also experts in UHD Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD compression and authoring.
We are currently looking for a Project Manager to join our team. The ideal Project Manager will possess at least 4 years of direct client-facing experience, is well versed in the Mastering QC, and file delivery, and can comfortably translate a client’s desired deliverable into work orders and action items for the internal team. Responsibilities
- Manage and guide multiple projects and clients throughout the streaming digital supply chain – from initial order through delivery and billing.
- Building strong working relationships with clients and indie filmmakers.
- Provide updates and asset information back to the client in a timely manner
- Clearly communicate project outlines, expectations, and action items internally
- Build out project entries, setting realistic timelines for production milestones and final delivery
- Organize data entry and project tracking
- Pre-qual assets against a given spec in a pinch
- Quick to address customer and asset issues as well as deadline roadblocks
- Freely and transparently communicate and collaborate with operations, production, and technical departments
- Understand how to prioritize work within the team as well customer demands and live dates, and SLAs
- Abide by security policies and protecting information assets entrusted to you
- Willingness to learn and undertake additional department duties as required
Requirements
- 4+ years of post-production or media distribution experience required
- 3+ years of working within the streaming digital distribution supply chain
- Expertise in the major streaming platforms: iTunes, Google, Netflix, Amazon, Xbox, etc
- Passionate advocate for each client
- Deep sense of urgency in a fast-paced and high volume environment
- Results-oriented with strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and both written and verbal communication skills
- In depth knowledge of audio/video, physical and file formats and electronic delivery platforms
- Strong multi-tasker, experience with organizing and managing multiple priorities, while retaining comprehensive knowledge of multiple workflows
- Strong ability to follow directions, work unsupervised, at a fast pace in a calm and collected manner
Benefits
Compensation: The hiring compensation range for this position is $80,000- $95,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on the applicants education, experience, skills, and abilities.
