Job description: This entry level, part-time role supports the leader of a marketing team, completes assigned initiatives, and supports defined marketing strategies and tactical plans. This includes executing go-to-market activities that support organizational goals such as driving buy rate and growth. Incumbents work with the direction and guidance of a Marketing Manager or similar position to manage and complete all activities and deliverables for assigned projects.
YOU HAVE:
- Passion. Willingness to learn, demonstrate creativity, and excel in a changing (and fast-paced) environment. Motivated, results oriented and committed to providing outstanding customer experiences. Preferred special interest or knowledge in sports.
- Technical skills. Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially MS Excel. Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced, changing environment.
- Great communication skills. Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
- Availability. Must have weekend availability (remote work).
- Experience. Preferred 1-2 years’ professional marketing experience.
- Education. High school diploma or GED. Preferred BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing, or similar.
YOU WILL:
- Marketing Strategy Execution Assistance. Research sports championship data. Report on sports activity weekly (wins/losses). Develop and create marketing materials, such as sales and product collateral, and ensure brand guidelines are met. Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities (content development and optimization, advertising, physical / virtual events, etc.). Provide other administrative and marketing support as needed.
- Sales Rep Marketing Support. Provide championship lead generation for sales team. Implement ways to help the reps evolve local marketing and grow local revenue through corporate marketing support. Prepare and package materials and product for special events and trade shows; responsible for shipping & handling.
- Typical/expected % of overnight travel: None to Minimal.

Our Marketing team leverages digital marketing strategies and tactics focused on schools, independent sales reps, parents and students to deliver the right message, to the right customer, at the right time. Team members will understand and leverage customer insights through data analysis & testing to then create experiences and relevant content throughout the customer journey and to support our specialized products lines including Yearbooks, Class Rings, Graduation Products and Professional Sports. Through executing across a variety of consumer touchpoints on jostens.com, social, e-mail and print materials, the team collaborates with internal partners to create relevant and timely marketing campaigns to meet the needs of our customers.
