Instructor – Rhythm Reach Workforce Development Program.

Job Description

As an Instructor within our Workforce Development Program, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the careers and futures of our participants. Your responsibilities will encompass curriculum delivery, skill development, mentorship, and fostering an inclusive and dynamic learning environment. This position is integral to our mission of preparing individuals for success in today’s rapidly evolving job market.

Key Responsibilities

1. Curriculum Development and Delivery

-Academic focus on 4 core WIOA elements including Entrepreneurial Skills, Leadership Skills and Development, Labor Market and Employment Information, and Financial Literacy.

– Design, develop, and deliver engaging and effective training modules and courses aligned with the program’s objectives.

– Adapt instructional materials to meet the diverse needs of participants.

– Ensure that the curriculum is up-to-date with industry trends and requirements.

2. Instructional Excellence:

– Facilitate classroom, online, or blended learning sessions, maintaining a high standard of teaching quality.

– Use a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.

– Provide constructive feedback and support to participants to enhance their skills and knowledge.

3. Mentorship and Support:

– Serve as a mentor and guide to participants, offering career advice, coaching, and encouragement.

– Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all participants feel valued and respected.

– Monitor participant progress and provide additional support when needed.

4. Assessment and Evaluation:

– Develop and administer assessments and quizzes to measure participant comprehension and skill development.

– Regularly evaluate and report on participant performance.

– Use data-driven insights to continually improve the effectiveness of the program.

5. Collaboration:

– Work collaboratively with other instructors and program staff to ensure a cohesive and seamless learning experience.

– Stay informed about industry trends and share expertise with the team.

– Participate in professional development to enhance your own skills and knowledge.

6. Compliance and Documentation:

– Ensure compliance with program regulations, including record-keeping and reporting requirements.

– Maintain accurate records of participant attendance, progress, and achievements.

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Master’s preferred).

– Proven experience as an instructor or educator, preferably in workforce development or adult education.

– Strong knowledge of the WIOA standards, practices, and guidelines related to the program.

– Excellent communication and presentation skills.

– Ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

– Proficiency in instructional technology and e-learning platforms.

– Strong organizational and time management skills.

– Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping others succeed.

Availability & Shifts

Monday – Friday

Scheduled classes occur between 9am – 6pm
