Questex is seeking a motivated PHP developer (Drupal/Laravel) to join our agile team of professionals! If you are passionate about learning, improving your skillset and curious about DevOps, come join our team! The work location can be remote with preference working in the Eastern Time Zone.

As our PHP Developer, you’ll support Questex’s success by: 
• Develop and maintain web-based PHP applications using Drupal or Laravel frameworks
• Build efficient, maintainable solutions using Object Oriented Principles
• Use Vuejs and vanilla javascript to build better user interfaces
• Use, or build, your DevOps skillset to maintain assets in the AWS cloud
• Communicate effectively with team members and project managers to ensure we deliver features and fixes on time and as promised
• Use cutting edge technology to improve our development and deployment processes
• Keep up to date with new trends and technologies
• Learn low-level Drupal internals to maintain and build new custom Drupal projects

What we will love about your background: 
• Experience with building Drupal custom modules
• Experience with Laravel
• Fullstack developer experience, but we have a dedicated front-end development team so extensive html/css styling is not required

Your Experience and Education include:             
• Degree in related field.
• Minimum 7 years of related experience
• Previous experience with PHP in any of the following: Symphony, Laravel, Drupal (PHP-level Drupal)
• Hands-on experience with SQL schema and query language
• In-dept knowledge of SOLID and DRY principles
• Creative and efficient problem solving
• In-dept knowledge of the PHP language

Development Stack
• PHP, Docker, VueJS, Javascript,Twig, MySql, Memcached/Redis,Terraform, Bash, Drupal 9/10, Laravel 9, AWS (EC2, S3, RDS)

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $120K-150K. Salary offers are based on a broad scope of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market, geographic and organizational factors are also considered. We offer a competitive benefits package and we offer the following:
