Position Overview
Dwight Global Online School, which was recently named the #2 best online high school in the United States by Newsweek, is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, communicative, and efficient Assistant Registrar and Testing Coordinator.
This position is remote on most days; however, the Assistant Registrar/Testing Coordinator should be located near the New York City area and able to visit Dwight School on Manhattan?s Upper West Side from time to time to complete special projects. The Assistant Registrar/Testing Coordinator will assist in organizing AP exams in May and must be able to be on campus every day at the end of April and throughout May to complete this task. The Assistant Registrar/Testing Coordinator will report to the Registrar and work with the Curriculum and Instruction Team. The Assistant Registrar/Testing Coordinator is a full time position.
Compensation commensurate upon experience: $65,000-$85,000
Job Duties
Assistant Registrar Duties
Assists Registrar in performing all duties related to student enrollment and registration, including:
- Maintaining and uploading records and documents on school information systems
- Coordinating with admissions and Registrar department in ensuring that all newly enrolled student information is efficiently entered into Dwight Global?s student information system, Blackbaud.
- Coordinating with the Math Department and Admissions to process all incoming student?s requests for access to math placement exams in Canvas.
- Communicate and assist parents with uploading student information in Blackbaud and creating parent Observer access in Canvas
- Maintaining and auditing student health records and documents on Blackbaud.
- Making required schedule modifications and creating new courses when needed
- Managing student academic records and personal files in Google Drive, MyDwight (Blackbaud), Magnus, and Canvas
- Managing academic trimester reporting for Grades 6-12
- Generating class rosters, teacher and student schedules
- Overseeing attendance
- Fulfilling student records requests, including complete transcripts, report cards and assessment data
- Serving as point of contact for parents to update student information in the school electronic directory
- Handling online orders of textbooks, gifts, supplies, and other items
- Assisting with Admissions team in spring and summer months
Testing Coordinator
- Serve as AP Coordinator and manage all aspects of AP testing ordering, registration, and administration
- Manage all aspects of AP testing on-site in New York City April and May
- Organizes other online testing, including NWEA
- Analyzes testing results and presents data
- Handle all aspects of PSAT, ACT, and SAT testing implementation
- Coordinate with the Special Testing Coordinator on provisions for students with accommodations
Qualifications:

- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets (experience in formulas and functions such as Vlookup, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting, Data Validation, etc)
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience with Canvas and Blackbaud preferred but not required
- Strong G-Suite (Docs, Sheets, Forms and Drive) or Microsoft Office skills
- At minimum of 1-3 years experience in an administrative role
