Relevant Experience

Technical/Functional Skills
- Hands on experience on deploying & building application using AWS native services
- Hands-on experience in designing, configuring, and managing cloud services in AWS.
- Working knowledge of Cloud automation and provisioning tools.
- Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
- Strong Infrastructure Architecture background and experience with virtualization technologies
- Understanding of the systems architecture, application architecture, high availability, scalable installations, and layered security.
- AWS certified professional Architect would be a big plus
Experience Required
- Four or more years of hands-on experience designing available, cost efficient, fault tolerant, and scalable distributed systems on AWS
- Experience with deploying hybrid systems with on-premises and AWS components
- Capability to provide best practices for building secure and reliable applications on the AWS platform
- AWS certified Solutions Architect would be a big plus
Roles & Responsibilities
- Designing and migrating applications on AWS using PaaS services
- Experience on deploying applications on Serverless, Containers & Kubernetes
- Designing and deploying scalable, highly available, and fault tolerant systems on AWS
- Selecting the appropriate AWS service based on data, compute, database, or security requirements
- Identifying appropriate use of AWS architectural best practices
- Responsible for the availability, security/compliance, backup, and performance of the cloud infrastructure
- Perform system monitoring, diagnose, and correct system problems
- Work with Development teams to identify issues, troubleshoot and make recommendations to resolve application integration issues
- Develop automation routines to effectively automate the deployment of Cloud Services
Generic Managerial Skills
- Manage, Mentors and directs the efforts of more entry-level engineers.
- Excellent time management skills
- Able to plan/track tasks/activities
- Report progress/challenges to Project Manager
