Location
The position is located at the Company headquarters in Vienna, Ohio, but exceptions could be made for personnel living in certain strategic geographies for the company.
Reporting Relationships
The Sourcing Manager will report directly to the Director of Sales and work closely with the Regional Sales Managers, Customer Support Managers, and other cross functional team members. This role is to ensure the proper relationships and supply line with our own plants and vendor partners to support the Company objectives, mission, and values.

Requirements
Essential duties and responsibilities
– The Sourcing Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the sourcing process at the SBU level to ensure the proper vendor relationships, best costing and payment terms, and discovering and collaborating with trustworthy vendors to support the Company, the SBU and its value creation objectives, mission and values. Understanding this position may have duties outside normal business hours.
– Generating and implementing efficient sourcing and category management strategies.
– Expectation of learning the Pallet Design Software, and becoming fluent to be a subject matter expert.
– Learning the order entry software, and be available to help put on orders and to cover for Customer Support Managers as needed. Helping with communication with customers, collection of AR, and other assistance to the CSM team may be required.
– Prompt and quick turnaround of pricing to Regional Sales Managers, based on the parameters set by the Regional Sales Manager and/or customer.
– Maintain current pricing by material and region for comparison of regions.
– Maintain Salesforce for quoting prices, specs, and vendor records. Update notes in vendor records to upload vendor capabilities.
– Be first point of contact for vendor issues.
– Analyzing procurement data such as cost analysis reporting, benchmarking spend, costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure.
– Minimum weekly review of open orders with Customer Support Manager, to ensure timely invoicing for cash flow requirements.
– Minimum monthly review of all customers in the sourcing area for market based cost adjustments, and review with the Regional Sales Manager.
– Finding, qualifying, and onboarding new partner supply mills to strengthen our supply base.
– Overnight travel required minimum 25% of the time, to visit vendors, develop new vendors, and foster relationships with Regional Sales Managers. Within 48 hours of vendor visit, submit vendor visit forms and updates to Director, and upload into Salesforce.
– This is a non-remote/non-hybrid role, and will need to be in the Vienna Coprorate Offices.

Required Education, Experience, Certification, Licenses, Registration
– Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field is required.
– Five or more years of experience in sourcing, supply chain management, and/or procurement, with demonstrated competence in supplier development, negotiation, and sustaining network relationships.
– Proficiency in Salesforce, or other CRMs required.
– Current and valid drivers license, with a clean driving record, and the ability to rent a car.
– In depth knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required.
